You may think that the only news coming from Miami is about Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, & Chris Bosh (click here to see past posts of Wade & Bosh during Jame’s decicision) … But get ready for tonight, when Dancing with the Stars Miami boy Chad Ochocinco, really starts to shake things up !

When I asked T.O. what he thought about LeBron’s decision to come to Miami he gave us this exclusive quote… “I think it’s awesome for him & the City of Miami. Everyone saw what he did in Cleveland, Miami just got hotter!!!”

Coincidentally, Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens were my co -hosts for the Paparazzi Pool Party during this years’ SUPERBOWL in MIAMI. Tonight,  they both have amazing new TV shows premiering .You can catch them back to back on VH1 !!!!  Tune in staring at 9/8c tonight for The Ultimate Catch, a new reality dating series starring NFL wide receiver and former Dancing with the Stars celebrity participant Chad Ochocinco!  AND then you can catch Terrell’s show: The T.O. Show Season 2 which premieres @ 10:30/9:30c.

My dear friend Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian (who although not from Miami has been adopted by us Miamians and will soon have a home here as well) serves as Ochocino’s advisor on the TV show helping him choose The Ultimate Catch!  AND then another one of our beloved MIAMI boys- Andy Roddick ( who happens to be one of  T.O.’s best friends) has a cameo on his show tonight as well!

Jill Martin, Emmy-Nominated television personality extraordinaire came to paint the town with me!!!!!!!   Author of “Fashion for Dummies”, Jill is also a contributor for The Today Show, US Weekly magazine, and The Insider. A diehard sports fan, Jill is also a broadcaster for the New York Knicks, reporting during pregame and postgame shows and doing celebrity interviews at halftime.  We have been friends for year; in fact, we discussed it over dinner at Soho House last night after the premiere… We initially meet doing a Cribs style segment together with clients/friends of mine from The University of Miami back in the day!

Shake the Lake 2010 hosted by Chicago Bears Star & Campins client Greg Olsen proved to be a night that will not soon be forgotten . For the second straight year, the Chicago Bears tight end Olsen hosted the Shake the Lake Music Festival at Joe’s Bar in Chicago.  Charismatic , grammy award winning artist extraordinaire Darius Rucker and his electrifying baritone voice was just one of the highlights of the special evening.  Up-and-coming artists Matt Kennon and Lewis Copeland were also on the musical lineup for the Receptions for Research benefit.  Chicago’s own Ramblin’ Ray of US99 emceed the evening and reminded the crowd why they were there . Receptions for Research, was founded in honor of his mother, a breast cancer survivor, and was established in 2009 to provide hospitals, doctors and researchers the necessary resources to save those affected with cancer. It collaborates and partners with other organizations to help find a cure for all fatal cancers. The Lynn Sage Foundation, established by the family of Lynn Sage, is committed to the discovery of a cure for breast cancer and has partnered with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, a nationally recognized leader in breast cancer care, education and research. “It’s a very important cause to me,” Olsen said. “It’s very close to my family. That’s why it’s a family-run organization. We work hard at it and we take a lot of pride in putting together events for people to have a good time. We also take pride in the fact that we’ve raised a large amount of money just having been around for a year. We hope everyone comes out. The money’s going for a good cause.” Greg’s wife Kara Olsen runs Campins Chicago, an extension of The Luxury Real Estate Boutique Company in South Beach and does a fantastic job. Kara is a class act and epitomizes the strength and character of a woman behind a great man. Love “Chi-Town” – the vibration, the people, and the pride – there is no place like it!
